Applied AI Engineer

I build production AI systems — autonomous agents, content pipelines, and the guardrails that keep them reliable when no one is watching.

I design and operate AI systems end to end — from the agent logic to the evals, cost controls, and observability that make them hold up in production. Some of my personal projects: a trading agent live on Kalshi prediction markets, an Instagram content SaaS, and a taste-gated AI music pipeline.

I got here through medical devices. As lead R&D engineer at Avvio Medical I helped build the Enhanced Lithotripsy System — an FDA-Breakthrough-designated device that breaks kidney stones with ultrasound-activated microbubbles, no general anesthesia, no fluoroscopy — with patent work to my name from that program. Before that: robotic assembly for CERN's CMS experiment and dark-matter detector work on LUX at UCSB. Hardware that can't fail taught me how to build AI systems that shouldn't.
